They say Barcelona is the best city break in the world. It’s a bustling city and a sunny beach too. There’s good nosh, jaw-dropping architecture, and lots more to fill a week. Here are the best Barcelona attractions…
Spanish Food
Paella classes, sangrias, Tortilla Espanola (Spanish Omelet), Andalusian gazpacho, patatas bravas, chorizo in cider sauce, Iberian ham. Spain has DELICIOUS food!
This particular beauty is black fideua – noodle paella coloured with squid ink.

Architecture & Art
The buildings in Barcelona are beautiful everywhere you turn, and they demonstrate how much brighter and happier good architecture makes a place. From Park Güell with the Gaudi museum to the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s attractions are beauuutiful.

Culture
Flamenco – In its strictest sense, flamenco is an art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain in the autonomous community of Andalusia and Murcia. In a wider sense, the term is used to refer to a variety of Spanish musical styles.
Erotic Museum – not sure if you can call this culture, but the erotic museum is exactly what you expect – lots of sex! I’m a solo traveller, so as I sat with a group of girls watching erotic cartoons, I eventually worked up the courage to ask them to photograph me sitting in a giant vagina. If I can do this, you can do anything!

Camp Nou – I only went for a tour, but when I arrived they were about to play a home match, so I bought a ticket and sat down to gamble!

Beaches
The weather’s warm and sunny, there’s a beach to relax on, and to top off the perfect city break, grab a board and go paddle-boarding!

Without further ado, here is the video featuring many of these Barcelona attractions. It’s great to compare the New York one to this and marvel at how far my production skills have improved. Back then there were no GoPros, colour grading, or watersports, to name a few.
